A journey in mentorship, personal development, team building and creative synergy.

Leadership is an art form
You are about to enter a fictional, digital world.
“Seek first to understand, than to be understood.” – Steven Covey.
Although, I have held many positions of authority and leadership throughout my career and education, it was only a couple of years ago that I began to seriously focus on leadership education and personal development.
Support Team Lead, Senior Support, and VIP Specialist.
Currently I work at a full-service, dental digital marketing agency in Portland, Oregon
Early on I was selected for development and was offered dedicated mentorships with senior team team members.
I now currently work on the leadership team and take point on, internal team support, driving department and company wide initiatives as well as innovating solutions.
Specializing in communication and collaboration
Team is the dream:
I have always worked closely and collaboratively with small teams of people. What I believe is true, is it doesn’t matter what you do, so much as who you do it with that is most important. The most meaningful and powerful experiences are created, shared and won together.
Where it all started: A passion for communication:
Over the last decade I have been on the front lines of team and client communication. In addition to my leadership responsibilities, I take point in coordinating and leading conferences calls with major DSO clients, de-escalating conflicts, supporting business owners and primary contacts in brand transitions, strategizing solutions, negotiating service reviews , team training, and constructing plans of action for mutually beneficial, positive growth, with priority placed on team support.
What is they key to my success? Communication.
A decade in the service industry is an education in people.
Communication and Survival: There is no better training ground for communication than at the front of a independently owned restaurant.
Communicate well – then survive and thrive. Communicate poorly, and suffer retribution. It’s often not fair, kind or comfortable, but at least in the tips don’t lie, and every table is a critic who pays.
Higher Education and Communication: While working at local start up gastro pub and brewery, I also pursued a Master’s in Communication at the University of Portland. The program was an intensive exploration of communication theory. I took what I was learning in the classroom, to the restaurant I worked at and designed a front of house training program around the art of communication.
Take away: I spent many years working in profoundly humbling roles, that at times could turn abusive. Through studying communication, I have been able to find an ever evolving, inner power and a deeper sense of others.
